Quetzal is a restaurant branding concept centred around celebrating the rich culinary traditions and culture of Guatemala. Envisioned as a fine-dining experience, the restaurant combines authentic traditional cuisine with a welcoming atmosphere that invites guests to explore and connect with Guatemalan heritage. The logo draws inspiration from my mother’s handwriting, with the distinctive curl of the letter ‘Q’ incorporating the silhouette of a Quetzal bird, a meaningful symbol of Guatemalan identity. The menu is presented in both English and Spanish, with phonetic pronunciations included alongside traditional dishes to make exploring unfamiliar cuisine more approachable and encourage guests to embrace the experience.
